Privacy Policy
Letterfield Press is a static website. The word search generator, player, hint system, answer key, and print worksheets run locally in your browser using JavaScript. Custom word lists are not uploaded to a server operated by this site. Puzzle-solving activity is not transmitted to a remote service by these pages.
Accounts and tracking
There is no registration and there are no accounts. No analytics scripts and no advertising tracking scripts are installed by default in this source.
Session storage
After a puzzle is generated, the site may save a temporary copy in the browser’s sessionStorage under the key lfp-session. That copy can include:
- the letter grid
- word labels and normalized grid forms
- recorded answer placements
- which words you have already found
- how many hints you have used
- the worksheet title
sessionStorage is cleared when the browsing session ends, according to your browser. It is also limited to this site’s origin. It is not a permanent archive of classroom lists.

What this policy does not cover
If you print a worksheet, the file may pass through your operating system or printer software. If you use Save as PDF, that file lives wherever you store it. Email you send to [email protected] is handled by the email provider, not by the puzzle scripts.
